CLOVIS, Calif.  Pelco announces its collaboration with Milestone Systems, a leader of open platform IP video management software.

The two industry leaders have partnered in the development of a software management platform that allows Pelco Camclosure IP and IP3701 cameras to work with Milestone’s XProtect family of software, allowing users to seamlessly integrate the two.

“We selected Milestone as an early adopter for a third-party IP software management platform to support Pelco IP cameras, and we worked closely with them during the development phase of our Application Program Interface,” says Dave Smith, Pelco’s vice president of product strategy.

“Pelco is famous for its unparalleled customer satisfaction and well-developed channel of security professionals. Milestone is therefore very pleased to be the first IP video management software chosen to support Pelco’s network cameras,” says Milestone Systems CEO Lars Thinggaard.
