Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Vicon Industries Inc. introduces the "NVR Shadow," a powerful NVR pre-loaded with ViconNet video management software and includes up to 6.5 TB of usable, internal storage space in RAID 5 configuration. The NVR Shadow provides extended storage through eight hot-swappable drives for video database storage that are accessible from the front of the unit. The operating system drive, as well as a slim CD/DVD, are not part of the RAID array and are located internally.
