Over the last year, we at Camden have made many enhancements to our line of electric strikes. We now offer a complete line that includes ANSI, Mortise, Fire and RIM strikes. All strikes are UL 1034 and ULCS319 Burglary listed. The CX-ED1579 is also UL10C Fire Listed. Camden leads the way for electric strike quality, performance and value!
Camden’s new CX-ED2079 low profile ‘Universal’ grade 2 ANSI electric strike for cylindrical locksets provides exceptional value with three faceplates (ANSI round, ANSI square and wood door frame), and selectable 12/24V AC/DC voltage, fail safe/fail secure operation and horizontal adjustment of the strike body. Its CX-ED2071 counterpart is ideal for installations that require 8-16 V AC/DC operation.
The CX-ED1079L (low profile) and CX-ED1079DL (standard depth) ‘Universal’ grade 1 ANSI strikes for cylindrical and mortise locksets, and selectable 12/24V AC/DC, fail safe/fail secure, have horizontal adjustment. They come standard with latch monitoring, three stainless steel faceplates (ANSI square, ANSI round and wood door frame) and provide continuous duty operation.
The CX-ED1579L is a Grade 1 fire rated electric strike. Designed for mortise and cylindrical locksets (offset and centerline latch entry) the CX-ED1579L offers the added value of built-in latch monitoring, four stainless steel faceplates and ‘Universal’ performance, including field selectable voltage and fail safe/fail secure operation. With a three hour fire rating in fail secure mode, the CX-ED1579L is non-handed and compatible with most mortise and cylindrical locksets. It features an easy deadbolt keeper and latch monitor placement, easy fit wiring connectors for power and monitoring, and is 12/24V AC/DC selectable.

Our soon-to-be-released strike, the CX-ED1410 Grade 1 ANSI fire strike for UL fire rated doors/frames with cylindrical locksets, provides optimum electric strike quality and performance. It offers dual 12/24 Voltage, is AC/DC selectable and includes an ANSI square faceplate (4-7/8″ x 1-1/4″).
This ‘ANSI’ strike is designed to deliver unparalleled application flexibility, with field selectable voltage and fail safe/fail secure operation, over many years of trouble free service.
Also coming to market soon is the CX-ED1259L, a slim line, Grade 1 surface mount RIM Strike. It is ½” thick, and comes with two spacer plates. It is 12/24V AC/DC selectable and offers fail safe/fail secure, continuous duty operation.
