Datawatch Systems Boosts Regional Sales Management Team
HOUSTON and NEW YORK — Access control provider Datawatch Systems has hired the following regional sales managers in Houston and New York City.
In his role for the Houston office, Russell Gates will provide sales experience and market expertise on the latest office building security systems to owners and managers in the area.
With more than 17 years of experience handling both dealer product and sales force development, Gates has handled manufacturing processes and technology devices for several major firms. Prior to joining Datawatch Systems, Gates spent 11 years as a national account manager for Sensormatic Electronics/Tyco, where he sold asset control and loss prevention products to leading retail, hospitality, quick serve, education and commercial sectors. Most recently, he served as a senior account executive for Tech Systems Inc., where he specialized in selling solutions, service and maintenance contracts in the southwest region’s growing healthcare and medical office market.
Michael Schindel will serve in Datawatch’s New York City operations. He will generate new business and oversee existing accounts throughout New York City, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey.
A licensed real estate broker in New York and Connecticut, Schindel began his real estate career as a private investor. He has an extensive background in working for a number of major software companies that developed digital real estate solutions.
Prior to joining Datawatch Systems, he was director of national accounts for RIS Media, a major Connecticut-based real estate information network, where he was responsible for the sale of software products enabling digital visibility including social media tools, blogs, videos, texting platforms, among others.
