  • Became VP and GM of Morse Products Manufacturing in 1974
  • Morse acquired Varitech in the 1980s and later became Morse Security Group
  • In 1992, Optex acquired Morse, Spiller became president of Optex-Morse USA
  • In 1994, semi retired to consulting
  • In 1995, became executive director of the Security Industry Association (SIA)

  • Sat on boards of National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) and Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA)
