ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — Protection 1 has added four members to its sales operation to reach customers in the southwest and West Coast regions.
Jeff Cotten, a 19-year P1 employee, will serve as Tucson district manager. Recently separated from the Phoenix district, the Tucson district includes Albuquerque, N.M., and El Paso, N.M.
Cotten joined the company in 1993 as an operations supervisor after P1 acquired SanVal Security. In 1998, he served as manager of the firm’s San Diego branch.
With 13 years of industry experience, Chris Brooks will lead the Albuquerque branch as general manager. He previously worked as general manager for Per Mar Security and commercial sales manager at ADT.
Jeff Davies will assume the role as general manager of the Sacramento, Calif., branch office. Davies previously worked as vice president of Sonitrol of Sacramento and co-founded Concentric Systems Inc., a full-service life safety solutions company.
The company has named Daniel Ramirez as general manager of the McAllen, Texas, branch. Ramirez joined the company in 2006 as inventory coordinator. Since then, he has served as residential installation supervisor, residential installation manager, residential operations manager and district service manager, where he ran a team of 10 technicians.
