ADI and the National Training Center (NTC) have collaborated to deliver National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level 1 & 2 Fire Alarm preparation courses. The two-day course, held at ADI branches across the country, will help prepare dealers for the NICET certification exam.

This course will provide an in-depth look at the policies and procedures that govern the industry. Alarm dealers will learn current fire and life-safety requirements by studying National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.

The training will benefit installation, sales and service professionals as these codes influence buildings, processes, services, designs and installations across the country. Attendees will be exposed to more than 250 sample questions, develop effective test-taking strategies and learn how to use references properly.

“Through this comprehensive NICET training course, ADI and NTC are helping dealers stay up-to-date on the latest fire alarm codes,” says Scott Sturgess, director of product marketing for fire and intrusion products at ADI. “By preparing them for NICET certification we are helping to raise the standard of excellence across the fire industry.”
