NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ADS Security (ADS) has acquired nearly 600 customer accounts from Stewart Security Systems, helping to expand the firm’s presence in Middle Tennessee.

“Middle Tennessee is home to our corporate headquarters and monitoring center, so we are proud to grow our business locally in Middle Tennessee,” ADS President and CEO John Cerasuolo says. “We focus our acquisition efforts on companies with an excellent reputation within their community and Stewart Security Systems fits that bill perfectly.”

Stewart Security Systems customers will now have access to ADS’ customer care team; advanced suite of security services, including mobile management and home automation technologies and UL-listed, CSAA Five Diamond monitoring center.

Customers will also be able to manage their accounts and make payments through the My ADS online portal.

“I chose to sell the electronic security division of Stewart Inc. to ADS because they are a local company with a renowned history within the security alarm industry,” said Stewart Inc. owner, Mike Stewart. “We look forward to partnering with ADS on projects in the Shelbyville community.”

This purchase is the fourth acquisition for ADS this year following the purchase of a South Carolina security company in April and two Alabama security companies in March.
