Barry Swanson died on Thursday after being allegedly shot by Brandon Willie Martin.

Barry Swanson, an ADT alarm company installer, was killed on Thursday in Corona, Calif., after allegedly being shot by a former professional baseball player, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The suspect, 22-year-old Brandon Willie Martin, was arrested on Friday after he allegedly shot and killed the 62-year-old Swanson, Martin’s 64-year-old father Michael Martin and 51-year-old uncle Ricky Lee Anderson at a home in Corona. Police have not stated if they know what prompted the shooting.

Anderson was placed on life support following the shooting on Thursday. He later died on Saturday evening. Both Swanson and Michael Martin died at the scene.

The shooting occurred at 6:30 p.m. PST Thursday at 1000 Winthrop Drive.

Martin allegedly stole Swanson’s truck following the shooting and was arrested after a chase.

Martin was a 2011 first-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Rays. He last played shortstop for the Rays’ class A affiliate in 2013 but was released in March 2015.
