Advanced Fire & Security Adds Sprinkler Division
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Advanced Fire & Security has acquired Oakland Park, Fla.-based Action Fire Sprinklers for an undisclosed amount.
Owned by Eric and Laura Rode, Advanced Fire & Security provides installation and service of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, video surveillance and access control solutions to more than 7,000 customers throughout the south Florida market. The acquisition allows the company to offer fire sprinkler, fire pumps and controller services to its customer base.
“We have been looking to be a complete fire protection company, and with the reputation and experience that Action brings, it’s a perfect fit,” says Laura Rode.
Housed in the Pompano Beach headquarters, the new division will operate under the name Advanced Fire Sprinklers. Additionally, former Action Fire owners Patrick Moore and Kevin Benoit will serve as co-owners of the new division.
The transaction will boost Advanced Fire’s staff to more than 120 full-time workers.
