DACULA, Ga. — Alarm Capital Alliance has purchased more than 1,200 accounts from Bulldog Security Services for an undisclosed amount.
The deal has helped ACA expand its footprint in Georgia, as now the firm has a customer base of more than 20,000 accounts in the state, and more than 170,000 nationwide.
“This is a strategic acquisition for ACA in one of our target markets where we have the infrastructure in place to quickly onboard new accounts,” ACA President and CEO Amy Kothari says. “We are pleased to add these customers to our rapidly growing base in Georgia and we look forward to providing the same, excellent customer service they have grown accustomed to.”
Dacula, Ga.-based Bulldog Security Services provides intrusion alarm and fire systems, central station monitoring and service for clients in the Atlanta metro area. The firm also offers wireless communications devices to allow customers to maintain contact with the central station.
The newly acquired customers will gain access to the most technologically advanced security products the industry has to offer at an affordable rate, according to an ACA press release.
An advocate for customer service, Bulldog Security Services President Michael Jones wanted to sell the accounts to a business that would put clients first.
“We were looking for a good match to take care of our customer base, and ACA has the team to do so,” he says. “This is truly a win-win-win situation in which ACA, Bulldog and our customers all win. What can be better than that?”
ACA Acquisitions Manager Drue Thomas coordinated the deal. Steve Rubin of Davis Mergers and Acquisitions Group assisted Mike Jones in the sale of Bulldog Security.
