Axis Communications Expands in U.S. to Support Channel Partners

Axis Communications’ U.S. Expansion plan enables the company to work closer to its channel partners and joint customers via six business area offices nationwide




CHELMSFORD, Mass. — Axis Communications has announced an expansion plan for the United States that will strengthen local resources to meet market demand.

Each of the manufacturer’s six business areas — the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, South Central and West — will be dedicated customer-facing offices with their own Axis Experience Center.

The centers will provide an interactive environment that showcases Axis’ full line of network video products that integrate with partner solutions, according to a company press release. The individual Axis Experience Centers will also feature facilities designed for the company’s training courses, as well as boardroom-style meeting rooms to be used by Axis partners.

“Partners and customers are key to Axis’ long-term success and the Expansion Plan enables us to get much closer to them,” says Fredrik Nilsson, general manager, Axis Communications. “We’ve seen the direct impact opening offices in Canada and Mexico has had on our regional success, as well as how valuable customer-facing facilities like our Boston-area Axis Experience Center can be. This plan replicates our closer-to-the-customer success across the U.S.”

Axis will open three new offices in the Northeast, Midwest and West areas in 2014.

Additionally, the firm, which hired more than 60 new regional employees in 2013 currently has nearly 30 open positions in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
