Axis Communications Makes Pair of Business Announcements
Axis became technology partners with Siklu, while its network cameras were added to Prism Connect.
Axis network cameras are now a part of Prism Connect.
FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Siklu has become a technology partner with Axis Communications in North America, it was announced on Tuesday.
Siklu, a leading millimeter wave radio company, is partnering with Axis, a leading network video company, to promote EtherHaul wireless systems for high capacity rooftop and street level IP video surveillance security network connectivity.
“Axis has in-depth understanding of best practices and standards in security technologies. We’re extremely pleased to become a technology partner with Axis and look forward to working with them to bring our security network connectivity solutions to the market for the benefit of customers,” said Zeev Farkash, VP of Global Sales at Siklu.

The EtherHaul radios provide secure, interference-free connectivity, which Siklu says is ideal for dense, urban areas.
Axis was also in the news on Monday, as Prism announced at ASIS the addition of Axis network cameras to Prism Connect. The program enables device manufacturers to create new types of intelligent visual sensors that run Prism’s analytics, data visualization and privacy-protection software.
“Prism Connect opens up new users, markets and solutions for camera manufacturers,” said Prism CEO and Founder Steve Russell. “Axis shares our vision to create new classes of smart visual sensors for retail and beyond.”
Prism Connect adds powerful functionality to video cameras and a new generation of smart visual sensors, according to Prism.
