Canon Introduces Nine New Network Video Security Cameras

Cameras designed to deliver superb high-resolution pictures, per the company.

Canon U.S.A., based in Melville, N.Y., has introduced nine net Network Video Security cameras with capabilities designed to efficiently serve the surveillance needs of industrial sites and utility infrastructures, financial institutions, airports and transportation hubs, school, stores, offices and gaming establishments.

The new cameras include three models comprising Canon’s new Speed Dome product category, including two outdoor cameras equip with weather- and vandal-resistant protective housings, 360-degree panning with a fast and accurate tilt mechanism and a 30x optical zoom lens.

All nine cameras integrate core components designed to deliver superb high-resolution picture, according to the company, as well as exceptional low-light performance and vital color information.

The core components include:

  • 1.3 Megapizel CMOS image sensors
  • Genuine Canon zoom lenses
  • dual proprietary Canon DIGIC image processors

The cameras will be featured in Canon U.S.A.‘s Booth (#3239) at ASIS.
