CSAA Awards John Murphy With Lott Award

VIENNA, Va.

The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has awarded Vector Security President John A. Murphy with the 2008 Stanley C. Lott Award, the association’s highest accolade.

Murphy has been involved with the CSAA for nearly 20 years. He has shared his time, provided financial support, and volunteered his employee’s knowledge in many educational projects and AHJs relations.

“John has graciously contributed his time, talent and expertise to help CSAA grow and expand our portfolio of services to our members,” says Steve Doyle, executive vice president of CSAA. “Our reserves have grown significantly in the past few years and our training programs have also improved dramatically. John’s leadership has been of inestimable value to CSAA.”

Murphy is the immediate past president of CSAA and serves on the CSAA Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He is also an active member of the Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC) and is involved with the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) and its coalition, the Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation (AIREF).
