CSAA Takes Its Act South of the Border

VIENNA, Va.—Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most renowned beach resorts, the Central Alarm Association (CSAA) will stage its 2002 Annual Meeting at the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun, Mexico Oct. 25-30.

The event’s highlights include committee meetings; an examination of the Mexican security market; a roundtable discussion between CSAA’s Board and leading AHJs; and special project updates such as the establishment of an alarm industry database.

As usual, several seminars will also be held, including “Sensors and Monitoring: Through the Looking Glass to the Future” presented by John Judd of Bosch Security Systems. Other speakers include Michael Jones of ProFinance Inc., Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp’s Alan Pepper, and Security Sales & Integration Editor Scott Goldfine, who will present “Security Sales & Integration‘s Annual 2002 Dealer Survey Results.”

Aside from business, the social agenda will be marked by a sailing and snorkeling tour; charter boat fishing tour; dinner cruise aboard the “Caribbean Carnival”; golf tournament; jungle tour; tennis tournament; Chichen Itza ruins tour; and President’s Dinner Dance and Stanley C. Lott Award.
