Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has released results from its latest Security Trends survey, which identifies and measures the monitoring/installation industry’s monthly revenues, profits, attrition rates and marketing expenditures. CSAA members who took the survey in July report increasing their marketing investment in the latest reporting period compared to 2009. Google/Web search and direct-mail programs provided the highest return on investment (ROI) per respondent. Yellow Pages and magazine/trade publications also remain popular marketing buys.
