Digital Watchdog New MEGApix PANO 8MP and 48MP CaaS Cameras Now in Beta Testing
Revolutionary technology delivers multi-sensor 180° images at up to 30 frames per second.
Digital Watchdog (DW), the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, is now beta testing two new industry first products that will be demonstrated at the ISC West Exhibition April 15-17, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Booth 25089. Four sensors are configured for 180° panoramic views and deliver video streams at 30fps. The cameras are scheduled for availability in May 2015.
“We are thrilled to bring fast frame rates to multi-sensor high resolution cameras,” said Ian Johnston, Founder and CEO of Innovative Security Designs (ISD) and CTO of Digital Watchdog. “We are able to provide the high frame rates possible from each individual sensor as four streams through a single drop on the network. In addition, these cameras utilize our edge technology. They can run as their own servers and provide failover redundancy for recording.”
The new Digital Watchdog MEGApix PANO 8MP and 48/32MP 180° View Cameras are the first multi-sensor IP cameras in the industry to deliver full frame HD video streams at up to 30fps (at 32MP; 15fps at 48MP). With auto-focus lenses standard and CaaS capability (“Camera as a System” – DW Spectrum edge server onboard), these cameras take wide area surveillance to a new level. MEGApix PANO cameras are the perfect solution for wide area surveillance with plenty of resolution to zoom in for details.

MEGApix PANO 8MP and 48MP Cameras are beta testing with availability in May 2015.
