JUPITER, Fla. — RaceLine MotorSport’s new Palm Beach Kart Center, located at Palm Beach Int’l Raceway here, recently brought online video surveillance and intrusion systems provided by DirectView Security.
The video surveillance system allows track management the ability to have much greater control of their security, allowing them to visually see that drivers and spectators are in safe areas, according to the company. DirectView also designed an alarm and perimeter protection system to ensure that people do not enter unsafe or restricted areas of the facility.
“We are very pleased to have been chosen by the group at Raceline. Safety and security are paramount at racing facilities and our solutions, services and cutting edge equipment will ensure that visitors and staff will have a safe environment,” says Roger Ralston, CEO and Chairman, DirectView.
The track is a popular attraction used by casual drivers, IndyCar and NASCAR drivers as well as many corporations for private track driving and training days. The most recent event held at the center was put on by Mercedes AMG in May.
“As former security consultant and advisor, I can appreciate the need for quality equipment like the one provided by DirectView, the clarity of the cameras both in light and dark conditions is outstanding and the response time from the alarm monitoring center is impressively fast,” says Rony Miron, vice president and sales director, Palm Beach Kart Center.
