Dynamark Security Centers to Work With Nortek in mPERS Market

Dynamark is ‘excited’ to help dealers expand their portfolio through the addition of mPERS.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Dynamark Security Centers announced it has been working closely with the Numera business unit of Nortek to develop a national program for their mobile personal emergency response system (mPERS), known as Libris.

The new program is said to provide alarm dealers around the country with a new avenue of revenue that can be generated in the security industry.

“We are excited to be able to offer our dealers an opportunity to expand their portfolio by adding mPERS products to their business model,” said Dynamark President and CEO Trey Alter. “We have been researching this segment for a few years now, but could not find the right solution. Numera gives us the answer we were looking for with their Libris product.”

Keith Godsey, senior vice president of operations, said the Libris product was designed to be an effective solution for customers wanting a personal safety device. “We had to find a product that had a cloud based platform, and that contained the most advanced fall detection on the market,” he said. “With its multiple motion sensors and proprietary algorithms, Libris can notify our central station if a fall occurred, even if they can’t press the button.”
