NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) will conclude its partnership with event organizer AE Ventures after ESX 2014 ends.
ESX will now be coordinated by Alarm Industry Expo (AIE), an entity jointly owned and operated by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA). The show planner has contracted with Marietta, Ga.-based Tradeshow Logic to produce ESX 2015 in Baltimore next June.
Tradeshow Logic and AE Ventures have already begun the transition process, according to a press release.
“We want to thank AE Ventures for their entrepreneurial passion, thoughtful approach and exceptionally hard work in developing ESX since its inception in 2008,” ESX Chair George De Marco says. “Because of AE Ventures’ focused efforts and teamwork with the association partners, ESX is in a strong position to continue growing the show and delivering a brand that is meaningful and relevant to security professionals.”
AE Ventures will now focus on newer events and digital media such as its TecHome Builder Summit, TecHome Builder LUX and TecHomeBuilder.com. The firm also plans to develop a new marketing services business for clients in the installed technology industries.
“We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to work with CSAA, ESA and thousands of great exhibitors and attendees on ESX,” AE Ventures President John Galante says. “During a very tough economic cycle, we launched an industry trade show, successfully building and growing it into a vibrant brand that is recognized industry-wide. We wish ESX continuing success, while our team turns to exciting new opportunities in the homebuilder/homebuyer markets and in marketing services.”
