PROVO, Utah — Fluent Home, a summer sales-model provider of home security and smart home systems primarily in Canada, has opened a new recruiting and sales office here to pursue expansion efforts in the United States.
Previously branded as Titan Alarm in Canada and Stryke Alarm in the U.S., Fluent Home’s expansion into the U.S. includes opening several new sales offices in more 12 states, according to a press release.

“We are excited about this new step in our company’s growth,” says Shawn Koncurat, CFO of Fluent Home. “We have had amazing success in Canada and we wanted to take the same growth and same focus on families into larger markets in the U.S.”
The company introduced its new name Jan. 1, 2014, and expanded from exclusively providing security alarms to becoming providers of home automation technology and products by Honeywell.
Fluent Home is led by Graham Wood, president, who formerly served as Pinnacle Security’s primary Canadian sales leader. According to the company’s Web site, its Canadian accounts are monitored by Reliance Protectron while accounts in the U.S. are monitored by Rapid Response.
