Guardian Protection Services Hires Former Interlogix President

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Guardian Protection Services has hired industry veteran Bob Haskins, the former president of Interlogix, as vice president of strategic planning and business development.
In the newly created position, Haskins will establish enhanced business models for both the internal account generating units of Guardian, as well as its authorized dealer program.
While at Interlogix, Haskins was responsible for driving the strategy and profitability of the global video and intrusion product businesses for UTC Climate, Controls and Security, while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Interlogix security and life-safety business. During that time, he reintroduced the brand name “Interlogix” — chosen to replace the “GE Security” name after UTC’s acquisition of that business — as the go-to market brand, gaining it global recognition.
Prior to his role at UTC, Haskins was vice president and general manager of U.S. security at G.E. Security.
