Hertel Joins Rapid Response as VP of Operations

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Following his recent departure from Mace CS, Morgan Hertel has been appointed vice president of operations for Rapid Response Monitoring Services.

The announcement, which was posted on Hertel’s LinkedIn page, comes two weeks after he resigned from Mace CS as vice president and general manager.

With more than 30 years in the security industry, Hertel joined Mace following its 2009 acquisition of Anaheim, Calif.-based Central Station Security Systems Inc. (later renamed Mace CS). A press release issued by the company cited personal reasons as the cause of Hertel’s departure.

In his new position at Rapid Response, Hertel is currently working on “several very high-level projects and initiatives,” he stated. Hertel is scheduled to serve as a panelists for the ISC West educational session, “NFPA 72: Are You Ready for Changes?” on March 28.

With more than 350 employees, Rapid Response provides central station monitoring services for residential and commercial customers throughout the United States and internationally.
