Hochiki America Corp., of Buena Park, Calif., releases the ACA-V multi-criteria analog sensor, which combines heat and smoke detection in a single device. The product requires an ASB addressable sounder base.
The Hochiki ACA-V is a multi-criteria analog sensor, combining heat and smoke detection in a single device. By using the company’s Loop Explorer software, the product can generate a non-latching supervisory event if the sensor detects smoke and a latching fire alarm event if the sensor detects heat. Each detector connects to the company’s FireNet control panel, which provides immediate notification to users.
