Honeywell Promotes Flink to President of ADI Global
Michael Flink, who served as president of ADI Americas, will now lead ADI operations across the Americas, EMEA and India.

MELVILLE, N.Y. – Michael Flink, who has served as president of ADI Americas since 2010, has been appointed president of ADI Global. ADI, part of the Honeywell Security Group (HSG), will operate as a global organization with Flink leading all of the wholesale distributor’s businesses across the Americas, EMEA and India.
“Michael is a distinguished leader with many years of experience building successful distribution models, driving growth and delivering positive results,” says HSG President Ron Rothman, who is a member of the SSI Industry Hall of Fame. “Under his leadership, ADI Global will continue to strengthen its value proposition, maximize its global network and deliver a robust customer experience to help customers grow their businesses.”
The company announced Flink will drive a global vision and business strategy to maximize vendor and customer relationships, strengthen product categories and lead expansion plans across all regions. While president of ADI Americas, Flink led “a cultural transformation focused on growth, marketing strategies and learning to improve the customer experience and strengthen the organization,” according to a press release.
“Our company is well positioned to grow, and we are committed to serving dealers and vendors around the world,” Flink says. “With ADI’s strong multi-brand, multi-category and multi-region distribution model, we will continue to drive growth and build on our position as a global leader in distribution, and I am proud to have the opportunity to lead this organization.”
Flink joined ADI in 2003 as the vice president of marketing for ADI North America. In 2005 he launched the company’s international expansion into Europe, overseeing the opening of 32 offices in the first year. Under his leadership, ADI completed the acquisition of Gardiner Group Europe and extended its reach into 14 countries across the region.
Flink also served as the general manager for Honeywell Security Middle East from 2006-2010, where he opened the first office in the region and established the sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain operations to serve customers across 22 countries.
