IC Realtime to Debut New 4K Video Surveillance Products at ISC West 2015

IC Realtime will be demonstrating its new 4K video surveillance line of products at ISC West 2015.

This month in Las Vegas at ISC West, the Pompano Beach, Fla.-based manufacturer IC Realtime will demonstrate its new 4K video surveillance products (booth #23005).

The line features a range of products highlighted by its new 360-degree by 360-degree virtual PTZ camera, as well as several 360-degree camera that include a choice of dome and wide-angle lens products, and NVRs.

The products meet ITU (International Telecommunication Union) specifications for 4K compatibility–3,840 x 2,160 resolution, with expanded color space in an 1.78:1 aspect ratio and progressive scanning rates at 25Hz and 30Hz–to deliver resolution four times greater than HD products.

“While 4K is becoming more common in the consumer electronics marketplace relative to TVs and home theater film screens, there is very little video content to speak of,” says Matt Sailor, CEO of IC Realtime. “IC Realtime is among the first to offer a comprehensive line that captures video in 4K, taking surveillance to an entirely new level.”

Taking a closer look at some of the products within the new line, the new 4K products include the company’s IC720 4K 360-degree by 360-degree camera and the complementary IC720 iPad app. The camera, along with the iOS app, enables users to pan from floor-to-ceiling and completely around with zoom and freeze options. IC Realtime adds it is developing a companion app for Apple’s iPhone, as well as the Android platform.

Other products in the line include the 4K 360-degree dome and wide angle lens surveillance cameras that offer a resolution of 4,000 x 3,000, and 4K recording capabilities of 15fps. IC Realtime also states the products are powered by its IC720 software platform that work with smart devices’ built-in sensors and gyros to view events from inside the action, and infrared night vision capabilities.

IC Realtime adds the new ONVIF-compatible 4K NVR incorporates an Intel i7 Quad-Core processor, and up to 96TBs of storage. The company also points out the NVR is capable of outputting 4K from four channels to as many as 128 channels.
