Johnson Controls Appoints V.P. and G.M. of Global Security and Fire Unit

MILWAUKEEJohnson Controls (JCI) has named Tammee Thompson as vice president and general manager of its Global Security and Fire unit. This global division offers a comprehensive selection of security protection technologies and services designed to provide safe, comfortable, and efficient facilities.

Prior to joining the company, Thompson led the Asia division of GE Security, where she was responsible for all operations in Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and South East Asia. She also served in a P&L leadership role for the Intermodal Leasing segment at GE Equipment Services. In this role, Thompson was a key member of the team responsible for turning around the Rail Services Division. Her responsibilities included sales, operations, CAPEX, product development and business planning.

Prior to joining GE, Thompson also worked for Morgan Stanley & Co., The Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young and ITT Corp.
