Kimberlite’s Calif. Central Station Assisted Police in 1,000+ Apprehensions in 2014
Fresno-based monitoring center claims to maximize community resources, combats false alarms at more than double efficiency of national average.
Kimberlite Corp. said its central station in Fresno, Calif., assisted law enforcement in 1,081 apprehensions in 2014, breaking its own national record of 1,035 apprehension assists in 2012.
FRESNO, Calif. – Kimberlite Corp., a provider of verified electronic security for homes, schools and businesses, announces its central station, based here, assisted law enforcement in 1,081 apprehensions in 2014, breaking its own national record of 1,035 apprehension assists in 2012.
Kimberlite operates 14 Sonitrol franchises throughout California, including communities in Bakersfield, Berkeley-Richmond, Contra Costa County, Fresno, Marin County, Modesto, Napa County, Northwest Los Angeles/Ventura County, Oakland, San Francisco, Solano County, Sonoma County, Southern Alameda County and Stockton.

Kimberlite’s central station has assisted police in 8,576 apprehensions since 2000 – approximately 12 per week – more than any other alarm monitoring station in the United States, according to the company. Kimberlite achieved its record apprehension total in 2014 as a result of its utilization of verified alarms, which are monitored by live operators around the clock.
The compounded effect of highly trained operators’ attention to detail and the relationships it creates with local police departments allows the company to apprehend more criminals and maximize community resources by combatting false alarm rates at more than double the efficiency of the national average, according to Joey Rao-Russell, president and CEO, Kimberlite Corp.
