CHANDLER, Ariz. — PSA Security Network has named Mark Murphy, chairman and CEO of Leadership IQ, a research and management consulting firm, as the keynote speaker for the PSA Owners’ Convention 2013. The event will take place Oct. 18-22 at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa in Chandler, Ariz.
During the keynote presentation, Murphy will present a leadership model aimed to help company executives encourage employees to discover and maximize their unrealized potential. Observing that more than just top executives need training to fortify teams and succession plans, the program focuses on all three levels of leaders in organizations, from operations up to senior management.
“PSA owners have been quoted to say that their people are their greatest asset,” says Barbara Shaw, director of education, PSA Security Network. “In order to continue to grow your business, you need to hire right, grow your people and retain your stars. It’s our mission to help our integrators become most successful in their markets, and this begins with building stronger teams.”
Formed in 2001 by Murphy, Leadership IQ delivers employee engagement surveys and leadership training and development to organizations worldwide. The company develops all training materials based on proprietary research and employs a blended-learning approach, including formal instruction, interactive exercises, role-playing, individual assessments, action plans and more.
