CARLSBAD, Calif. – Linear, a provider of access control and other security solutions, will host a free Webinar, focusing on search engine optimization (SEO) for Linear dealers and interested installing security contractors.

Scheduled for March 12 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PST), the 45-minute Webinar, titled “Local SEO Fundamentals,” will cover SEO practices and strategies that contribute to lead generation, qualified Web site traffic and expanded market penetration on a local level.

Topics covered will include:

• Intelligent keyword research and onsite optimization
• The importance of claiming local places pages and business directory listings
• Backlinks and social signal strategies
• The difference between mobile and desktop search results
• How the latest updates to the Google algorithm affect SEO

The 45-minute interactive training session will provide recommendations for optimizing all online content and simple steps that require very little background knowledge or digital marketing expertise. Linear will allot 15 minutes at the end of the presentation for questions and commentary.

Although it does take time to build a strong online presence, dealers who invest in search engine optimization will reap wonderful benefits, says Duane Paulson, Linear’s senior vice president of product and market development.
