Monitronics Wins 2014 Stevie Awards for Customer Service

For the second consecutive year, Monitronics earned the Bronze Stevie Award for Contact Center of the Year. The firm also took home an accolade in the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year category.

LAS VEGAS — Monitronics’ Alarm Response Center has earned two Bronze Stevie Awards at the eighth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

Derived from the Greek word from “crowned,” the Stevie Awards program recognizes the achievements of call center, customer service and sales professionals worldwide. This year’s ceremony took place on Feb. 21 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

For the second consecutive year, Monitronics earned recognition in the Contact Center of the Year category. The firm was also honored in the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year category.
Monitronics’ UL listed, Five Diamond certified central station uses two-way voice technology and is a charter member of the Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) electronic dispatch program.

Alarm Response Center operators directly engage customers during an emergency situation, assessing how an alarm should be handled. Dispatchers also educate customers on how to manage future alarms.

“Our team focuses on treating every alarm with the same sense of urgency as they would want for their own home and family,” says Darin Anderson, Monitronics’ vice president of monitoring operations. “We’re honored to win, and we remain dedicated to protecting what matters most to our customers.”
