NSCA Adds More Features to Integration Business Survival Conference

Attendees of the NSCA Integration Business Survival Conference and Technology Showcase will now have the opportunity to earn renewable units and participate in a new session by CompTIA.

The upcoming Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase (IBSC) from NSCA is designed to offer specific training, education, and a chance to experience new technology in a small, one-on-one setting.

NSCA announces two new additions to the conference: the attendance of CompTIA and the ability to earn RUs (renewable units).

Attendees with CTS certification will have the chance to earn 11.5 RUs at the two-day conference on May 15-16 in Chicago.

The following courses will be available and provide attendees with RUs:

  • Analog to Digital: Problems and Solutions
  • Wireless Mic Solutions for Corporate AV
  • 10 Things You Can Do to Help Profitability
  • Creating an Efficient Service Department
  • Design Considerations for Mass Notification and Emergency Communications
  • The New Rules of Customer Engagement
  • Managing and Billing for RMR

In addition, CompTIA will be speaking at the conference about the many IT certifications in the integration industry and providing training on the company’s Certification Roadmap. The Integration Business Survival Conference aims to help integrators navigate the growing impact of IT convergence on the industry.

The Technology Showcase offers hands-on experience and demos of the latest technology from leading manufacturers, such as Kramer, Shure, Lencore, Lightware, Solutions360, Herman, West Penn Wire, and RDL. IBSC attendees will network with and learn from manufacturers with news and updates to share.

Registration for the two-day event is $249 for NSCA members and $399 for non-members. Registration includes access to the Technology Showcase, manufacturer training, business education, and all networking events.
