Napco Highlights Range of Wares Across Its Portfolio

The company is demonstrating security, connected home, video, fire alarm, access control and door locking systems.

ATLANTA – Reserving prime real estate not far from the main entrance to the exhibition floor at ASIS 2014, Napco Security Technologies’ spacious booth this week is replete with intrusion security, connected home, video and fire systems, plus enterprise-class access control and door locking products.

Among the products the company and its various brands are showcasing at the Georgia World Congress Center:

LocDown School Security Solutions – Napco, Marks USA, Alarm Lock and Continental Access offer LocDown security solutions for educational buildings and doors, ranging from simple local lock-down from inside the classroom door or with teachers’ keyfobs, or campus-wide, across a local or enterprise network, combining access control, alarms, video, threat-level and visitor-management.

3G/4G Universal Radios – StarLink 3G/4G Universal Radios provide a low-cost alternative to 2G telephony that works universally on any panel brand (Point ID/4/2), according to the company. With a new $99.95 price and a $50 upgrade incentive to trade-up from any 2G radio, radio registration is made easy with dialer-capture and is easiest for takeovers without being on the premise.

Commercial Wireless Fire – The Napco Commercial Platform simultaneously supports UL commercial wireless, addressable and conventional devices, which are ideal for cost-effective system upgrades, according to the company.

Networx ArchiTech Access Lock – The company bills this series of locks as featuring architecturally-pleasing aesthetics with Alarm Lock’s advanced, keyless access control locking platform. The products, all ANSI/BHMA grade 1, are ideal for discriminating applications from high-rise residences or offices to universities, according to the company. Users can choose among combinations of more than 300 architectural trims and finishes. ArchiTech’s proximity reader module adapts to multi-credential technologies, such as prox, magstripe, smart cards, etc.

“ASIS provides an excellent opportunity for us to showcase how we meet and even exceed market demands for security, connectivity and access control,” says Richard Soloway, Napco chairman and president. “We offer a full suite of products that not only protect and help to manage physical and personal property, but save our clients both time and money.”
