The detector uses addressable sensors and control modules, utilizing the robust Potter/Nomi digital protocol to provide the flexibility needed to tackle demanding applications, according to the company. With a listed air velocity of 100 to 4,000 feet/minute, this device is built to withstand and function within a wide array of conditions and duct systems.
The device provides early detection of smoke and products of combustion present in air moving through HVAC ducts in commercial, industrial and residential applications, according to the company. The detector is compatible with the company’s PFC-6000 series addressable fire alarm control panels, the Potter Plus panels and any panel compatible with the Potter/Nohmi addressable protocol.
