I’m guessing you may already have a hunch that something is afoot. You’re right! These strange and exciting online surroundings you presently find yourself in are the result of SSI‘s bold, new and long-awaited totally redesigned Web site! So what do you think? Pretty snazzy, eh?

As someone who has been with this publication since our first site design and enewsletter back in the late 1990s, I am thrilled about how far we have come and what we are now able to offer our valued readers.

The new site is organized according to seven primary “channels” (Business Management; IP / Video Surveillance; Access Control; Fire/Life Safety; Intrusion; Systems Integration; and Vertical Markets) to make navigation easy, intuitive and logical. Additionally, there are lots of useful and fun multimedia and social media components, including blogs (several additional are set to debut later this month), video, webinars, podcasts, photo galleries and much more.

Couple that with our ongoing coverage and deep archives of news, events, trends and opportunities, original research, technology and applications, installation case studies, and troubleshooting tips and you have the industry’s most comprehensive online destination and resource.

But the ultimate proof is in what you think. So please take the site for a spin and share with us any comments, issues, questions or concerns you may have at sescales@bobit.com. Thank you for allowing SSI to contribute to your security industry knowledge and success.
