The director of vendor management will be the primary negotiator for all contracts with vendors concerning pricing, delivery and quality issues. The vice president of sales & customer service will develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. In addition to reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates, the person hired to this position will direct channel development activity and coordinate sales activity by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
