Security-Net Adds Pair of Systems Integrators to Its Ranks

The integrator network expands to 20 member companies with the addition of FE Moran Security Solutions and Care Security Systems.

EXTON, Pa. — Security-Net, a network of leading security systems integrators, has increased its geographic reach in the New York, New Jersey and Illinois areas with the addition of two new member companies.

The new members are FE Moran Security Solutions, headquartered in Champaign, Ill., and Care Security Systems (CSS), based in New York City. Their addition to Security-Net will bring extensive expertise in a diverse array of markets including government, education, residential and commercial.

Dominic Burns, CEO of A.C. Technical Systems and a Security-Net member, says both companies participated in a rigorous review process before being accepted as members. Part of the Security-Net membership process is ensuring potential members are focused on developing and maintaining strong service-oriented relationships with their customers.

“We are very service centric and we look to identify that in each new member,” Burns says. “A customer is not just a number.”

The addition of FE Moran as a new member company follows its acquisition in April of MidCo, which has been a long-time active member of the organization.

Adam Kimball, senior vice president, operations for FE Moran, says it was very important to the company and MidCo that they continue the relationship with Security-Net.

“We’re very excited to have a group of peers that trust each other to be able to speak about best practices, industry changes and challenges,” Kimball says.

FE Moran serves locations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Kansas, with national clients coast to coast, Canada and Puerto Rico. Since its founding in 2003, they have grown to one of the largest security companies in their region, providing alarm monitoring and life safety and security services to its clientele.

The company’s 250 employees serve about 30,000 clients, which includes a mix of both residential and commercial customers.

CSS is a certified woman-owned company with offices in New York City and Montebello, N.Y. In the past 30 years, the company has served some of the largest state, federal and corporate organizations in the U.S. on a national level, delivering integrated security systems with a commitment to building strong relationships with customers and within communities.

With a wide range of expertise, CSS specializes in a variety of industries, from city-wide surveillance, government and utilities to transportation, manufacturing, education and retail. Core services include video surveillance, security training, access control systems and visitor management.

Abe Schwab, vice president of CSS, says the team is looking forward to working with Security-Net.

“We are excited to be part of a group of specialists and to collaborate with others on best practices and to provide the highest level of security in the industry,” Schwab says.

Now with 20 member companies, the new additions to Security-Net expand the network’s geographic footprint to serve customers in the New York and New Jersey markets, as well as Kansas, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.

Established in 1993, Security-Net has its headquarters in Exton, Pa. The network maintains approximately 50 regional offices and 1,200 security professionals positioned across the United States, Canada and abroad.
