SECURITY PRO LAUNCHES ‘FAMILY’ CAMPAIGN FOR HOME SECURITY

NORTH ST. PAUL, Minn.

The Interlogix network of Security Pro(r) Dealers has launched “Security Is a Family Matter(tm),” a sales, marketing and brand ID campaign with the goal of increasing security in homes and communities by strengthening families. As a result of the campaign, an alliance has been made between Security Pro and Meld, a nonprofit agency whose mission is to help parents raise nurtured, competent children.

“We know our security systems are effective in saving lives and property, but security doesn’t start with technology,” says Michael Benedict, Security Pro vice president. “Security starts in strong families and spreads out to the community from there. We’re partnering with businesses and agencies that can help us promote that message and create that reality.”

The Security Is a Family Matter Web site (www.securityisafamilymatter.com) includes excerpts from Meld’s Hands-On Help series of practical tips for parents. Topics include how to avoid mealtime madness, the benefits of visitation for parents and kids, helping kids learn responsibility, and more.

Security Pros are part of a worldwide network of 240 security companies involved in security system design, installation, and monitoring. Interlogix is a provider of communication technologies and information for security, safety, and lifestyle enhancements.
