Security Stakeholders Make Way to California for ASIS 2015

More than 200 educational sessions, along with numerous networking events, will be presented during ASIS 2015.

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Installing security dealers and systems integrators will have a raft of educational and training opportunities to select from at the ASIS Int’l 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits, held here Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center near Disneyland.

More than 200 educational sessions, along with numerous networking events, will be presented during ASIS 2015. Geared for installing security contractors and their end customers, the systems integrator track will include such session titles as “Legal and Operational Principles for Managing New Security Technologies”; “Are We There Yet? How to Migrate to IP Video”; “Credentialing Challenges and Practical Solutions”; and “Get the Most from Your Technology Investment.”

Other related sessions are specialized for dealer and integrator operations. This coursework includes “Become Your Own Video Forensic Expert with High Image Quality”; “From Biometrics to Analytics: Using Advanced Solutions To Manage Risk”; “The Power of 360 Degree Surveillance”; among others.

A Sept. 29 panel session will explore “The Integrator of the Future and How Are They Managing Today’s Projects?” Scheduled presenters Scott Dunn (Axis Communications), Nicole McDargh (Securitas) and Greg Hendrix (Tyco Integrated Security) will deliberate the complexities of having to support both current and future requirements for end users, as well as other project particulars.
