Sonitrol Tri-County, 3xLOGIC Donate Video Surveillance System to Flint (Mich.) City Hall

3xLOGIC will provide $50,000 in related surveillance equipment, and Sonitrol Tri-County will handle installation and cabling valued at approximately $20,000.

GRAND BLANC, Mich. – Sonitrol Tri-County, based here, and 3xLOGIC will collaborate to increase security at Flint, Mich., City Hall with a donation of an advanced video surveillance solution and installation. The project is valued at approximately $70,000 in donated equipment and labor.

Flint City Police recently approached Sonitrol Tri-County for assistance in increasing security at City Hall. Sonitrol then contacted 3xLOGIC, a provider of integrated intelligent security solutions, for its assistancde. After a short consultation the two firms agreed to “a speedy, joint donation,” according to a press release.

Under the agreement, 3xLOGIC will supply $50,000 worth of security cameras and related surveillance equipment, and Sonitrol Tri-County will provide total package installation and necessary cabling, valued at approximately $20,000. System installation at City Hall was scheduled to be in the mid-May timeframe.

“We’ve had a long and mutually-beneficial history of working with law enforcement, particularly Flint City Police, when they need help, and today’s donation is a great example of this relationship,” says Sonitrol Tri-County Vice President of Operations Mike Buckel. “We’re hopeful the new equipment will go a long way in deterring any future crime at City Hall.”

Matthew Kushner, CEO of 3xLOGIC, says the company is pleased to be able to support the Flint police and city administrators as part of Sonitrol’s long-standing relationship with law enforcement.
