Sony Expands Territory of Rep Firm to Cover Mid-Atlantic Region

Professional Sales Agents previously served as Sony’s rep firm in the southeastern United States.

PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Sony Electronics’ security systems division is expanding the presence of Professional Sales Agents (PSA), its manufacturer’s representative firm in the southeastern United States to also cover the Mid-Atlantic region.

Established in 1978, Norcross, Ga.-based Professional Sales Agents specializes in public and private networks, physical security and the Outside Plant Telecom (OSP) business, providing products that cover software, video surveillance, servers and access control.

Sony Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Security Manager Skip Lochte will collaborate with the recently appointed rep firm to build a sales team in the Mid-Atlantic region.

“As we’ve gained insight from and built long-term relationships with the consultant community, as well as federal and commercial clients, we’ve learned that our customers are looking for innovative security solutions that perform in real world scenarios,” Lochte says. “Given PSA’s tireless work championing Sony’s technical advancements and supporting our partners in the Southeast, we knew they’d display the same commitment to meeting and exceeding the needs of resellers inside and outside of the Beltway.”
