Stanley’s Byerly Steps Up as COO Whall Steps Down
LISLE, Ill.
Tim Whall has resigned from his position as COO of Stanley Works’ Convergent Security Solutions, Security Sales & Integration has learned.
Tony Byerly, senior vice president of sales, marketing and national accounts for HSM Electronic Protection Services, a Stanley Works company, will assume the vacated COO post, effective immediately.
Whall joined Stanley Works in January 2007 with the acquisition of HSM, where he served as president and COO since 2004. Whall is credited for guiding HSM to its position as the fourth largest electronic security company and second largest commercial security services company in the United States. He is lauded in the industry for his steadfast approach to customer service excellence.
Prior to joining HSM, Whall served as executive vice president of operations for ADT Security Services and president of SecurityLink, a security provider.
Byerly has served in the electronic security industry for about 20 years. Prior to joining HSM, his executive career has included positions with companies such as Ameritech, SBC Global Communications, Cambridge Protection Industries and ADT Security Services.
