Top 10 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Woman Trapped Outside in Tornado Emerges Unharmed

Other top videos include a man suffering a heart attack saved by EMS and a gang looting a gun store in Texas.

PAINCOURTVILLE, La. — Kyra Johnson was outside of a hardware store here last week when she realized the weather was starting to turn for the worse.

A powerful tornado was coming her way. Johnson, a FedEX delivery driver, tried to get inside the hardware store to take cover, but she quickly realized the door was locked. She would have to find cover out in the elements.

Seconds later, the tornado was seen on video surveillance ripping through the area and the hardware store as Johnson hid in between the wall of the store and a soda machine.

“I could have been blown, ripped away … but nothing,” Johnson told WBRZ. “Nothing touched me.”

The miraculous incident leads off this week’s installment of the Surveillance Videos of the Week. Other top videos include a worker collapsing from a heart attack, only for EMS to revive him, and a gang looting a gun store in Texas.

Johnson credits God for saving her from the force of the tornado. “God saved me. I called to Him to save me the whole time the tornado was over us and [He] heard my cry. I am not a religious person but I do believe in Him to the fullest and that’s what saved me,” Johnson said on social media.
