Top 8 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Thief Picks the Worst Target for His Robbery

Watch all of this week’s videos, including a gunman approaching the fence of the White House and a postal worker doing the unthinkable when approaching a house.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Consider this a word of advice for any thieves out there: Do your best to avoid targeting security companies. It might not have a happy ending.

That was the scene outside of Pixel Security Solutions, when the vice president of the company, Keith Nelson, saw video surveillance footage of a man ransacking his car, managing to scrap together very little. The next night, the thief struck again, this time taking a water bottle from outside the store.

Nelson decided enough was enough, so the company decided to setup a trap for the visitor. It worked.

The security camera footage of the trap leads off this week’s edition of the Surveillance Videos of the Week. Check out all the videos, including security stopping a gunman from shooting at the White House and a postal worker’s despicable treatment of a family’s dogs.
