Tyco Security Products Announces New RAID Storage System for NVRs
The company says the storage system is ideal for mid- to large-sized installation or cloud data centers.

WESTFORD, Mass. — Tyco Security Products has released a new version of the RAID storage system for VideoEdge network video recorders (NVRs), which is said to include enhancements in the NVRs’ archived storage and improved battery back-up capabilities to decrease system downtime.
With redundant power supplies and lockable, hot swappable drives, the company says the RAID storage system provides users with high reliability to store critical video and audio longer. An additional battery backup module comes with the storage server for additional redundancy.
According to Tyco Security Products, the American Dynamics RAID storage system is ideal for mid- to large-sized installations or cloud data centers.
