World Wide Security Launches Remote Monitoring Division

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — World Wide Security/GC Alarm has launched a new managed services division to serve the needs of commercial and residential complexes in the tri-state area. The announcement comes a month after World Wide Security acquired CCTV Security of Long Island City.

The firm created the new division to help building owners and managers reduce operating costs by using a combination of automated technology and live personnel. The managed services division will offer automated doorman services, package delivery management, virtual guard tours, and hosted access and video services.

“These services are designed to assist doorman and building managers during the day and off hours to make sure certain tasks are carried out,” World Wide Security/GC Alarm President and CEO Kenneth Mara says. “Technology can go the distance to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. We have seen a tremendous response from new and existing customers.”

The company has also increased its technical services department to manage the market response, with the Remote Doorman program being the most requested solution.
