Rally Will Inspire Attendees to ‘Make It Count’

The final day at ESX will offer a full slate of general session gatherings. First up is a “Rise & Shine Breakfast” session moderated by ESX Chairman George De Marco. The goal of the meeting is to explore how telecoms, cablecos and other technology providers are powering a sea change across the traditional security landscape with innovative offerings and nationwide marketing campaigns. De Marco will be joined by panelists Adam Mayer, vice president of Time Warner Cable’s IntelligentHome division; Gene LaNois, general manager of Nest Labs’ pro channel; and Doug Bieter, vice president of sales at Dropcam.

ESA has invited Steve Ford, the actor and son of former President Gerald Ford, to present a talk that will delve into such issues as leadership, overcoming adversity, juggling priorities and making the right choices in life.

The ESA Industry Luncheon and Annual Meeting has traditionally been all about tackling the industry’s mission-critical initiatives. That won’t change this year except for the addition of a special guest speaker. ESA has invited Steve Ford, the actor and son of former President Gerald Ford, to present a talk titled, “Inside the White House and Hollywood … Getting to the Top with Character.” Ford will delve into such issues as leadership, overcoming adversity, juggling priorities and making the right choices in life.

Finally, ESX planners have organized an interactive presentation that is aimed to help attendees achieve an effective and enriching event experience. To that end, the Making It Count Rally will feature education program leaders who will review key takeaways in each of their tracks, plus offer actionable steps for attendees to administer in their organizations.
