Linear to Present SEO Fundamentals Course as Part of Online Dealer Training Series

Included in SSI’s October issue, which will be posted online in the next few days, is an article I reported about dealer programs. The vast array of organizational support available to the dealer and integrator communities really is impressive when you consider the great many resources offered by various service providers and vendors.

Be it for technical training, financial assistance, marketing support, business development, networking opportunities, etc., if you need help it’s out there to be had (with the caveat you’ll need to do your homework first to ensure a good match).

By and large as technological advances have taken hold in the industry, support offered by third-party providers has progressed as well (albeit to varying degrees of success). This includes keeping pace with digital marketing trends. To that point, although this isn’t specifically related to an authorized dealer program, consider Linear’s newly expanded Online Dealer Training Series.

The access control specialist is presenting a free Webinar on Wednesday (Oct. 3) at 1 p.m. EDT, focusing on search engine optimization (SEO). The series is being offered to not only Linear’s dealer partners but all interested installing security contractors. If you have been studying or wondering (which you should be at the least) how it is that SEO can increase sales by obtaining qualified business leads from Internet search engines, this could be right up your alley.

Titled “SEO Fundamentals,” the 45-minute session will instruct dealers and integrators on effective SEO strategies to “strengthen Web visibility and organically grow their business,” according to a company announcement.

Linear presenters will cover topics, including how SEO works, how to identify the right keywords and use them effectively, the benefits of a blended search strategy, plus tips for achieving better local and regional Web site traffic. A question and answer period will follow. Interested? For more information or to register for the Webinar, visit www.linearcorp.com/dealertraining or call (800) 421-1587.
