ASG Security Goes on Acquisition March
BELTSVILLE, Md. — If Joe Nuccio, the CEO of alarm contractor ASG Security, has his way, there will be no limit to how much his company grows in the coming years.
ASG is coming off an end to 2004 that saw the acquisitions of four alarm companies. “This is only the beginning. We’re a little ahead of our schedule plan,” Nuccio says. “Our plan is to be in the top 10 in next five years.”
ASG, based in Beltsville, Md., added 6,700 accounts, including 4,200 from Annapolis, Md.’s ABC Security.
Nuccio thinks his company will still derive strength from the residential market. “I think the market is still out there,” Nuccio says. “I’ve been in the industry since ’84 and I would argue this is the best time to be in our industry.”
